Information before picking up your Ragdoll Kitten

We feed our kittens the highest quality food to ensure they are grow big an strong. If your veterinarian recommends a different brand always make sure to change them over gradually to not upset their stomachs.  There are so many high quality brands of foods out there it can be confusing. 

We have your ragdoll kitten eating dry food before letting them leave if you want to feed your baby canned food introduce it slowly as not to upset their stomachs. 

Your ragdoll kitten is using Kitten attract you will only need one box of it and than you can change over to a low dust scoopable litter.  We love scoops away, tidy cat and arm and hammer.

We train our ragdoll kittens with a flat stainless steel litter box they are just babies!  We do not recommend them for kittens. if you want to invest in one as they get older be sure to switch  them over gradually we love our top entry litter box's

We recommend putting your kittens food and water bowl by their litter box to start with this reinforces where that amazing litter box is. Take them there as often as possible (you can not take there to many times the first 2-3 days) to reinforce where that amazing litter box is make sure they follow you with a wand toy as we call it the lay of the land looks different at arms height than it does at the baseboards. 

This is an important time to create a bond with your baby and you can not get that first week back! We can jot stress that enough. 

These babies are leaving everything they know as comfort, you are their new comfort zone. They have a great start here and you want to continue that hold them, play with them make sure you are giving them what they need to create that bond with you and what that is more important than anything else is your undivided attention and time.  As much as family, friends and neighbors want to see your new baby we recommend waiting 2 weeks before showing your new baby off. This will foster that bond with your baby and they will get to trust you as their new best friend. 

They are babies we do not want to overwhelm them.  

We are a closed cattery please refer to our Rusts Ragdolls news dated 8/18/2024. We will set a place to meet to get your baby. 

Our veterinarian does am amazing job taking car of our kittens and checks your baby over extremely well we require you take your kitten to your veterinarian within 72 hours to get your kitten set up with your veterinarian. 

We accept cash app or apple pay if using either of these we require your kitten paid for three days ahead of pickup. 

We accept cash the day you are getting your kitten. 

We do accept checks we require them sent two weeks ahead of of your kittens pickup. 

We can put a paylink on our website for if you would like for us to do this there is a 4% added fee to the total balance as this is what we are charged. 

If our amazing courier is delivering your baby we require your kitten paid for three days ahead of delivery. 

We provide 30 days of Trupanion pet insurance and require it be activated with in 24 of receiving your kitten. It is at no cost to you and will have the flyer attached to the front of your contract. We want to see you you the best start with your baby. 

We require this or your contract is null and void.  We do not require you continue to purchase it past the 30 complimentary days it is just a little extra insurance that is a bonus with your ragdoll kitten.
